Staff Interview 03
*æ¥æ¬èªã¯è±èªã®äžãã芧ãã ãã*
Hello, good evening or good morning! I'm Kyrie, a background staff member of UBUME. The temperature is very unstable here in Japan these days. How about in your country? We, the UBUME staff, hope that you're comfortable during these hot days! XD Well, now let's start the staff interview. 1. Tell me, what's your name? :D I'm Kyrieholy, you can call me Kyrie. 2. Show us your blog/flickr page X) https://plus.google.com/u/0/110702646772604579023/posts https://www.flickr.com/photos/kyrieholy_resident/ 3. What is your main work for UBUME...! Translation (except for the scenario), writing UBUME blog posts, and other tasks. 4. Which part did (or WILL) you try your best on? UBUME blog posts at the moment...! And from now I'll also do my best on the translation work lol 5. Please give some comments to the readers <3 It is an honor to join the ORIGAMI development team from last year. This time, for some reason, I could not translate the main UBUME game scenario. But I'm very sure that you'll see that the scenario is as scary in English as it is in Japanese! As such, I recommend that you try the Japanese one if you're brave enough to move on from the English ver... ;) And, I do appreciate your continuous support for this UBUME blog <3 Kyrie is the owner of the animation and pose shop, "Holy+Sun". However, she mainly works as a show dancer, who dances on the stage like an RL performer. So, please come to see her uplifting shows to recover after you've experienced the scary UBUME game! *TIPS FOR THE WEEK* Here I will introduce something related or not related to the staff's work who answered the interview above. This week is about "Translation"...! Translation is totally different than Japanese-English rewriting. Especially in SL, we have to translate English in a way that not only the native English speaker will understand, but also others who use English as their second language. That means, sometimes we encounter cases in which people cannot understand the translated English because of cultural differences, and because the English is more Japanese-like. For this reason, I'm asking a native English-speaking friend to check my English before I post to this blog. So, I'm glad if you find some familiar English phrases in these posts<3 Well that's all for this week, and this time it was me, Kyrieholy. See you next week :)
